Naraku Expedition
120 seconds against Kibagami for Senka points, a share of the daily pool, and one draw against a pot that has been building since the last kill.
Two minutes, one room, one boss. Kibagami 牙神 hits for a percentage of your maximum HP and ignores every mitigation stat you own — which cuts both ways, and the good way is the one nobody expects: your gear does not decide this fight, and neither does your level. Every attack is telegraphed, every telegraph is dodgeable, and a player who reads them beats a player who out-geared them.
It is the one place in Ninjaverse where the only thing being tested is you.
The ticket — Soul Seal
You do not walk in with money. You walk in with Soul Seals, forged at Kanata — the same NPC who runs the gate and hands out the pool.
| One Soul Seal | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| 2 Soul Shard | Clearing a Naraku land — the reward for reaching its Kegare goal |
| 5 Kin | Your inventory |
| 1 NMON | Your inventory |

Seals are not bound to you: they trade on Ichiba like any other item. If you have Shards and no time, sell Seals to the people who have time and no Shards.
Staking — you set the size of the run
At the gate you choose how many Seals to put down: 10 minimum, 100 maximum. It is one dial, and it moves everything at once.
| Stake | Score multiplier | Prizes you draw for |
|---|---|---|
| 10 Seals minimum | x1 | 10,000 Koban top prize |
| 100 Seals maximum | x10 | 100,000 Koban same odds |

A bigger stake multiplies your Senka score and the size of every prize on the kill table by the same factor — the odds themselves never move. Ten times the stake draws for ten times the money at exactly the same chance.
One rule to know before you max out: a prize lands only when the pot can cover it in full. Scaled-up prizes need a deeper pot before they can land, so the biggest stakes want a pot that has been building. Watch the pool panel at Kanata — it tells you what is in there.
The fight — Kibagami 牙神
500,000 HP, 120 seconds, no potions. Standing inside arm's reach costs 6% of your max HP a second, so the fight has a shape: get in, hit, get out.
| Attack | What it is | Warning | Costs you | How you dodge it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kibasaki 牙先 | The tusk sweep — a short, wide arc at the boss’s own feet. | 1.0s | 60% max HP | Back off. It reaches above head height, so a jump does not clear it. |
| Jishin 地震 | A ground slam that throws two shockwaves out along the floor. | 1.0s | 20% max HP | Jump the wave. It crosses a body in about 160ms against a 467ms hang time. |
| Rakuseki 落石 | Stalactites, marked on the floor before they fall. | 1.0s | 40% max HP | Stand in a gap. The picker always leaves one at least 76px wide. |

Two more join as the boss weakens. Totsugeki 突撃, the charge — jump it and it ends against a wall, leaving the boss stunned for 2.5s and taking 150% damage, the biggest free window in the fight. And Hōkō 咆哮, the bellow, which only hits what is airborne: the whole fight trains you to jump, and that one attack asks you to stand still.
You can read the danger off the health bar
How many times a wind-up repeats is not random. It is the quarter of the boss's health that has gone — so you always know what is coming:
| Boss health | Every wind-up repeats |
|---|---|
| 100–75% | 1x |
| 75–50% | 2x |
| 50–25% | 3x |
| 25–0% | 4x |

Below 65% the boss adds the charge and the falling rocks; below 30% it adds the bellow, charges twice in a row, and bounces shockwaves off the walls.
Shards and Senka
Every quarter of the boss's health you take off showers you with coloured shards. They land on today's Senka board immediately — nothing to carry, nothing to redeem.
| Shard | Colour | Senka points |
|---|---|---|
| Haiiro | Grey | 2 |
| Kiiro | Yellow | 6 |
| Aka | Red | 15 |
| Murasaki | Purple | 40 |
Source: task/NarakuShard.java
| Milestone | Shards it drops | Grey | Yellow | Red | Purple |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 boss at 75% | 4–7 | 70% | 22% | 6% | 2% |
| 2 boss at 50% | 7–11 | 45% | 35% | 15% | 5% |
| 3 boss at 25% | 11–16 | 20% | 33% | 35% | 12% |
| 4 boss dead | 16–22 | 5% | 18% | 45% | 32% |
| A full kill | 38–56 |

The fight is at its richest right at the end. Late milestones drop more shards and better ones — the last one alone is 16–22 shards weighted towards Aka and Murasaki. Finish the boss.
The Bunshin wager
At 75%, 50%, 25% health a pair of Bunshin splits off the boss, 10,000 HP each. Kill both and your entire run is multiplied. Leave either standing and it is divided by the same number.
| Appears at | At stake | Kill both | Leave either alive |
|---|---|---|---|
| 75% boss health | x2 | score x2 | score ÷ 2 |
| 50% boss health | x4 | score x4 | score ÷ 4 |
| 25% boss health | x8 | score x8 | score ÷ 8 |
Source: task/NarakuGambit.java
Take all three and win them and the run is worth x64. Nothing is spent to enter one — the only thing a wager costs is seconds off a 120-second clock, which is the trade you are actually making.
The last pair is offered after the boss is already dead: the run stays open 15 extra seconds so you can take the swing or bank what you have. That one is a genuine decision, and walking away is a real answer.
What you take home
Three rewards, on three different clocks.
1 — The kill draw instant, on a kill
Kill the boss and you draw once against a pot that carries over between days and grows with every run the server makes. Four prizes, all in Koban:
| Prize | Worth | In NMON | Chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 500 Koban | 5 NMON | 20% |
| Big | 2,000 Koban | 20 NMON | 5% |
| Grand | 5,000 Koban | 50 NMON | 4% |
| Mega | 10,000 Koban | 100 NMON | 2% |
Source: server/config.properties.example
Those are the figures at the minimum stake. At 100 Seals every line is x10 — a Mega draw worth 1,000 NMON.
2 — The daily Senka pool split at midnight
Everyone who scored that day shares the day's Kin pool, in proportion to their Senka points. A strong score on a quiet day is worth more than the same score on a busy one — and you do not have to kill the boss to be in it, because milestones bank as you pass them. Settlement writes you a voucher; collect it from Kanata whenever you like.
3 — The Homare Chest daily, top scorer
| Who wins it | What is inside | The day needs |
|---|---|---|
| The day's top Senka scoreties: everyone tied | 2,000–20,000 Koban = 20–200 NMON | 200 Seals staked server-wide |

The pot only ever gets bigger
Every run pours 70% of what its Seals were forged with into the kill pot — 700 Koban at the minimum stake — and the pot never resets and never expires. It is not a daily budget and not something that gets switched off between wins.
Every run feeds it. Only a kill draws from it. Kibagami is a 120-second fight with no potions, so plenty of runs end with the boss still standing — and every one of those leaves what it staked sitting in the pot for whoever finishes the job.
So the pot you draw against is the one every player before you has been filling. That is the number worth checking at Kanata before you decide how much to stake.
